Welcome to the Pathways Website!

Look what is happening at Pathways....

ATTENTION PARENTS................

As you may be aware, "pink slime" has been in the national news for the past few weeks.  We have received a few calls from parents wondering if LPS food services uses meat that contains this substance.  We assume that you have gotten some of these questions, as well.

Jeanne King did some research and was able to confirm that LPS Food Services does NOT use beef that contains Pink Slime.  Before Spring Break, we posted the following statement on the home page of the district website:

Littleton Public Schools Food Services Program has received confirmation from its current beef suppliers that Lean Finely Textured Beef treated with ammonium hydroxide (referred to as ‘pink slime’) is not used in any of its beef products served to our students.
